We received a few quotes, and although Somerset was on the higher side, Mike was the only one who worked with us to design stairs that would work. Everyone else told us “no”, the door was too high. He even met us at Sensings to pick out the material for the stairs. The concrete they poured was 6” compared to other companies that only quoted 4”. Plus his price was all inclusive, so it included the boarder which was an extra price for other companies. We were very happy with Mike and the entire crew. They communicated each step of the way, and when they discovered the pitch of our yard was bigger then expected, they were quick to offer us different options and we ended up adding a small retaining wall, which we love! It did take longer than expected due to the weather, but they did the best they could working around the weather. Had the highest price but their concrete depth was 6 inches as opposed to 4. The crew was respectful and listened and responded to post contract requests and offered their input. They created quite a mess ( possibly because they dug so deep and it was a large job) but cleaned up the lawn and prepared the ground for seeding before they left. Quality is outstanding and the patio looks gorgeous.
